I’ve rounded up my favorite Ladies Shoes & Boots to help you make the transition from Winter to Spring. They come in lots of different colours and finishes so be sure to click through and have a look at all the lovely colours that are available to you.  For instance the last pair of #10 Miz Mooz Pumps are offered in a gorgeous purple colour that makes me drool.

Now I didn’t offer much in the way of flats but it’s boot season anyways so trim it down to a shorter boot this season and rock them for years.  They go over skinny jeans perfectly for an updated look.   As for a decent heel on a pump I’m always scouring for the perfect shoe heel ratio cause this girls got to be able to walk to and from the car and dance in them, so they can’t be too high or its all over.  Comfort is possible with heels my dears!  Take note with these brands shown here and have fun shopping!

I walked past these Ugh Boots in the mall the other day and had to do a double take.  Is this a fashion crime or not?  What’s your take on a sequin Ugh Boot?  It made me laugh and I had to tell my kid why I was laughing.  I just don’t know about these.  I’m sayin ‘No’ but maybe you could convince me somehow to change my mind.  What would you wear them with?  Post a comment and tell me Do you love or hate?

Sistas

This first outfit is one of the best outfit that I’ve seen for ages. Its just got the right amount of Rock with a throwback nod to the 60s n 70s. If there was one look I wish to adapt a little more in my closet right now this is it.

I LOVE this outfit from head to toe. I adore the spotted jeans, her boots and who doesn’t love a killer tiger top with a wicked crop leather. I do! I do!!

This fall pumpkin, navy, brown and burgundy colour palette is unexpected and perfect for season transition. She’s got Great layers, accessories and tights for texture and her hat is Boss!

So easy to love Polkadotted fabulous with brilliant kicker boots and chic glasses. Simply foxy.

I think more girls should take notes from this pretty sista and wear versions of this to work. That sweet knitted sweater is belted beautifully!!

Simply a charming outfit. A pretty frock, cool shrunken blazer with contrasting cuffs, and my fav style of hat a burgundy Bowler. LOVE.

Those Japanese kids know what they’re doing. Such a cute silhouette and her shoes!! Everyone likes the idea of wearing bloomer shorts but very few can do it.

Another fun dress silhouette. Great pop of colour and rad texture from her patterned tights.

This gal has mad style. I’ve been calling the pastel washed out hair shades for years and this year its very popular in the fab set. All the texture and patterns work together and scream ROCK & ROLL BABY!! Look at that earring!

Sweet babydoll dress with a sexy black lace tight? YES!! Covered up sexy.

When I see this eclectic French girl rocking her rubber boots with all her cool top layers I want to wear everything the exact same way she is here. I would wear this outfit ALL the time!

Such a clean chic silhouette that any girl with style wants to wear. Its so uber cool everyone wants a piece of this overall style because its so effortless. A 3 piece black and white outfit with a fresh pair of sneaks for a chill finish.

These guys know a thing or two about the modern man and what a cool guy looks like. So rad guys.

As a Fashion Stylist I’m asked often “What can I wear in the Winter to keep me warm but looking fresh and stylish over a big winter coat?” I always say knitwear!! Get out there and buy some knitwear because that is the number one thing that is going to keep you truly warm! Last night I attended the Arctic Air Red Carpet Premier at the Vogue Theater with my gorgeous husband Tyler because he’s a big ol part of the hardworkin crew on the show.

First of all, I really had to test my fashion knowledge and ask myself what do I wear on the red carpet when I am not the star even though in my mind I am?  Ha ha.  So alas after only a few costume changes I was on my way and quite happy with what I came up with even though it was a little sexy secretary I felt in the end it was appropriate.  So yes I finally wore that top out to an event with the big black bow in the front with a sexy pencil skirt, these cool new patterned Anna Sui tights and my fav high heels of the moment! Halleluia I’ve finally found two pairs of actual high heels I love but that’s another story for later.  Love it!  It was a smash.

This seriously handsome gentleman is Adam Beach Star of Arctic Air the new TV Series that premiered last night on CBC.  This guy was such a doll he kept telling me I was gorgeous, which come on, I am totally down with.  Funny thing is I’ve always thought this guy was extremely handsome on screen so when I saw him in the flesh I was smitten.  Adam deserves to be a big star cause he’s a gentleman and charming, so much so that when I gave him a Bentley Necklace from our Clutch Jewellery for Dudes Collection he loved it and put it on right away!  I snapped a photo of him and I, and you can see the necklace just barely but it’s there.  Gosh he’s handsome.  I don’t get hung up on actors much but I have to call it like I see it.  Good luck to Arctic Air!  Its a fun Canadian Drama that made me laugh so the writing is good and the characters are quality.  I think we’re all in for a fun ride with this Canadian Show set in Yellowknife inspired by the hit TV Show Ice Pilots!

Of course I found my way onto the dancefloor where I normally live when I attend a party, and look at these gorgeous ladies I found myself shimmying next too.  I had to snap a photo of course and say good girls, this is how you dress for a Premier!  Classy.  Alas this was my outfit under the jacket.  A little demur for me, but I thought better to class it up than to wear too many sequins as I normally love to wear for parties during the winter months.  It just felt right.  Thanks to these dancing queens for joining me on the dancefloor for a really fun night!

Tyler and I felt so at home hanging out with the big Executives at the party cause we’ve been working hard the last year Producing & Directing our own Documentary Life On Parade: A Cadet Story one of the many Film & Web TV Projects we’re in the midst of editing.  Stay tuned.

What a fun night this premier turned into.  You know, New Years and this Premier were both one of those nights where Ty and I had no real plans we just winged it and brought personality and fun to the party.  Both these nights turned out to be kind of epic so alas this is a little piece of advice..  Pick a great venue like the Waldorf or Barcelona where the Arctic Air After Party was for instance and just go out there with a fabulous outfit, a good social attitude and mingle.  Who knows what kind of fun will follow.  Oh and take a step from that wicked new Stanton Warriors track Tyler played for me the other night and don’t sit around or stand against the wall, Get out there and dance!  Great for people watching and you’ll always look sexiest when your moving to a fresh beat..

I had fun photographing this swag filled crew over the last few months cause with all that personality out there you can’t help but have fun.  Something to notice.. check out just how much the accessories make each outfit really come to life.  That is truly the secret to finding style and inspiring style for that matter.  Everyone of these people has key signature accessories that finish their outfits off.  That’s what people really notice and appreciate.  Just be sure to show some class and grace when someone compliments you on it. : ) Have fun out there with what you Wear.

These Stylin Sista’s were a ton of fun.  Bringin a Vintage Leather feeling to a Street Festival on Commercial Drive.  Hats and Leather Layers.

DJ Marky Mark.  This cat rocks his check pants and his wicked hair.  Mad love brotha.

Just plyin with fashion and tryin out a new look with my Straw Derby hat and vest.  I love a good vest.  Try one out cause they add tailoring elements but in a chiller way than a blazer.

These cats had flav. I just had to take their photo.  Lots of simple elements and they were just so handsome cause they were just hangin out on the ferry passing time which is always a good time to capture a moment in time.  Her black leather fringe bag is killah!

Wicked tattoos too.  I digs.

This guy was hilarious and had eclectic personal style. Dig his check classic Vans, green sweatband and soft pink preppy sweater.  The BC Lions Beer is a hilarious addition too.

This sista was so charming I just had to take her photo.  Great red lips and a french kind of feeling in her outfit overall.  This is how you rock a trench coat friends.

The thing about Kelly is she’s got a Clean Line Organic Boho thing going on at all times.  Simple concepts with a pop of an interesting accessory or two.  Wicked asymmetrical bangs too!

This dashing brotha had a fun put together style that of course was what i’d wear if I were a gentleman. All the elements of cool without trying.

A fun summer Techno Tribal feeling that I feel is and will continue to be a strong trend infusing clothing and home design for the next few years.

Everyone wants to be this girl or date her.  Cool Hippie Leather Flower Child.  She’s done it really well here.  Check out the old school gold digital watch on her wrist amongst her other jewels.

Take a cue from this cool guy if your a simple kind of fella that doesn’t want to look like he tries to hard.  Just have a few solid layers like his cardigan, argyle t-shirt and or a necklace and rock it out.  His jeans fit him perfectly so take note this is how this style of jean should fit lads.
